Professional Staff

The assignment of the project and staff is crucial in our eyes for the successful completion of any project. Particularly in a Turn-Key operation, it is our experience and effective communication skills that bind the project, staff, and client. As such we can deliver effective management to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to construction, architectural, planning, and engineering problems. Hence, we have divided our organization into multiple groups of professional staff to provide a unique form of service. The head of each unit is a licensed professional and leading expert in the field contributing to the unique expertise required to help analyze and foresee problems and solutions before they can occur. BNR Engineering has qualified technical experts to provide managerial services for the planning, design, construction, and construction administration of private development projects and local government.

ORGANIZATION

  • The firm’s Construction Management Unit provides expertise related to construction management, design, rehabilitation and reconstruction of virtually all of the firm’s various projects. BNR Construction professional staff participate in design review, value engineering, bidding and contract award and provide construction inspection services. Typically, BNR Construction provides full construction services for the projects we design. These services include receipt of bids, contract award, pre-construction meeting, resident inspection, shop drawing review, responses to contractors’ inquiries, payment requests, change order review, as-built drawings, operating and maintenance manuals and project closeout. BNR Construction works closely with the owners’ staff to provide a product that meets the specifications and can be operated by the staff once it is turned over.
  • The Municipal Unit review and/or design various infrastructure improvements in compliance with local municipalities and their planning boards and zoning boards. We review major development site plans prior to submission to Planning Boards to help municipal officials negotiate fair-share, off-site contributions from commercial and residential developers. This Unit also coordinates the inspection services provided by the Construction Inspection Unit.
  • The Transportation Unit maintains the technical expertise required to successfully provide our clients with professional planning and engineering services. BNR Construction has been responsible for the planning, design, and construction inspection of many new and upgraded sites such as office complexes, residential buildings and developments, commercial buildings and developments, and highway, bridge, and street projects.
  • The Planning Unit specializes in providing a full range of technical services involving land use and infrastructure development, urban and regional planning, environmental impact analyses, and development planning services in support of our client’s needs.
  • The Building Services Unit provides mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering services to the public and private sectors. Services include design and construction overview of plumbing, fire protection, heating, air conditioning and ventilation, and electrical and structural systems. The Unit also provides building investigation and analysis to determine state and local deficiencies.
